Digital Animation in the Primary Classroom part 1
It was interesting to learn the timeline of when different types of animated films came out! It was alsointersting to see just how much films have developed and advanced in the past 100 years!…what next??!
I am looking forward to having a go at making my own 2D animation later on this week.

my first blog entry!!!- ICT in the primary curriculum
Looking at ICT:
ICT is fast becoming a vital tool within the primary curriculum, where most areas of learning is influenced by some sort of technology! When I first started this course back in 2006 my knowledge and understanding of ICT was quite scarce, as the demand for it was not as great as it is now. Scary as it may seem, two and a bit years on and technology is everywhere, and it is in mine and the children I will be teaching’s best interest that I am on top of all new technology that is appearing rapidly. It is frightening to think that I will be leading children towards jobs which do not exist yet.
So lets get learning!!
E- confidence learning grid (16/01/09)- this exercise of looking at exchanging, enriching, enhancing, extending and empowering ICT in the primary classroom was very useful, to look back on where I have used or where I could use ICT in the primary classroom. It is something that I will try and refer back to throughout the module, to see how my knowledge is progressing.
Creating a blog (23/01/09)- Even though it sounds like a time consuming task, it wasn’t all that difficult! Until I have had some more experience with using blog I cannot really comment much more about its efficiency and simplicity :-)!
